This week was fairly much all about Leonard’s birthday and I was happy about that from a genealogical perspective as it verified a lot of names and connections for me! For those who might not know – Pearl, Ray, and Dorothy mentioned below are his siblings.  Then David is his son, Carol is David’s wife… then you see their children mentioned there too as sending a card:  David Jr, Tim, Mark, and Amy.  Not mentioned here is Leonard’s daughter Susan.

I’m curious about the first entry when she says “Johnson’s gone since early this morning.”  What’s “Johnson’s”?  Some food item since she mentions the grocery in the same line?  Wondering minds want to know!

Jill and Len (in his wheelchair) circa 1977.

NOTE:  As always, I left her spelling, capitalization, and punctuation as much as possible.

Len had a little better night last night. Had such spasms inside right leg when I went to bed, didn’t think I’d sleep, but the tylenol worked pretty well most of the night.
